Jonathan Saunders is the Chief Creative Officer at & Other Stories, leading the brand’s
renewed creative direction and shaping how design, expression, and identity translate into
commercial impact. He joined the brand in 2025, and under his creative leadership the
refreshed visual expression reflects the modern, expressive direction he is setting for the
brand and provides the creative framework for its next chapter.
A British designer internationally recognised for his mastery of colour, print, and modern
craftsmanship, Jonathan brings extensive experience from senior creative leadership roles.
Before joining & Other Stories, he served as Chief Creative Officer at Diane von Furstenberg.
He has also consulted for global fashion houses including Calvin Klein, Tiffany & Co., Louis
Vuitton, Chloé, Alexander McQueen, Pucci, and Marc Jacobs, strengthening his reputation as
one of the most distinctive creative voices of his generation. Earlier in his career, he founded
his own label, earning early acclaim for its distinctive use of print and colour.
Jonathan holds a master’s degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from Central Saint Martins, a BA
in Design and Applied Arts from the Glasgow School of Art, and a Doctor of Arts in Fashion
from the University of Glasgow.
